In February 2017, The Broadband Group began an engagement to develop a comprehensive Citywide Fiber Optic Master Plan for the City of Long Beach, CA. The Broadband Group was selected after a competitive bidding process based upon a significant history of notable successful projects.
From the City of Long Beach Notice of Intent to Award:
“The Broadband Group has a proven track record working with local governments for over 20 years including various fiber master plan projects for Huntsville Utilities, the City of Ontario, the City of Gillette, and the State of Nevada. The Broadband Group will be able to provide the City of Long Beach with a Citywide Fiber Optic Master Plan that will help identify budgets, implementation, and a business model topology to deploy a fiber optic network based on their experience with similar projects they have completed.”
