TBG Selected by City of Long Beach for Fiber Network Implementation Planning

On June 12, 2018, the Long Beach City Council approved The Broadband Group’s (TBG) going forward work for Citywide Fiber Network implementation planning.

The item was approved with a unanimous 8-0 Council vote:

Recommendation to adopt Specifications No. RFP TI16-072 and authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute any and all necessary documents to enter into a contract, including any necessary amendments, with The Broadband Group, of Las Vegas, NV, for Citywide Fiber Network implementation planning.

The City’s Fiber Master Plan was completed by The Broadband Group and submitted to the City in July 2017.
