Managing Local, State and Federal Initiatives

Supporting Broadband Service and Utility Electric Power providers, as well as education and health facilities seeking federal appropriations, The Broadband Group provides application coordination, grant writing, business plan development, and legislative advocacy services.

Deliverables include defining program methodology, development of business strategies, policy formation, issue advocacy, federal marketing, and the actual drafting and submission of state and federal grants. The Broadband Group recognizes that completing a “Winning Grant Proposal” requires more than simply filling out an application. A successful grant must be well-prepared, thoughtfully planned, and be responsive to social, political, and legislative objectives. We work closely with clients to develop unique ideas, indentify qualifying community programs that anchor a broadband investment, and craft a compelling story to ensure the application stands out from those simply submitted without fully comprehending the review and award process.

Federal, State, and Local community support is paramount to a successful grant application process. The Broadband Group, with its “inside the beltway” relationships and partners will establish a coalition of support for carefully defined projects.

TBG clients have been awarded more than $70MM in government grants, including $19.6MM for the Nevada Hospital Association and $26MM for Troy Cable in Troy, Alabama.
